About Me
My name is Harsh Chauhan, and I am actively involved in student politics, passionately working for youth welfare and representation.
In 2023, I created history by winning the General Secretary post in the GGDSD College Student Council Elections. This victory marked the first-ever win by a Himachali student and a Himachali party (HIMSU) in the college’s history.
I proudly represent the HIMSU (Himachal Students Union), a party committed to student upliftment, unity, and cultural pride.

As founder of SWASS (Student Welfare Association of Shimla & Solan), I lead hundreds of students in social campaigns across Chandigarh—supporting the underprivileged, empowering the differently-abled, and promoting environmental stewardship.

My Roots – Orchardist
I manage my family’s orchards in Himachal—cultivating apples, plums, peaches, and pears. Blending sustainable practices with innovation, I nurture premium fruit varieties and share insights with fellow growers.
The Athlete in Me
Sports have shaped my leadership. I’ve represented Shimla & Kinnaur in district cricket tournaments and played national-level volleyball with the DAV team. Discipline, teamwork, and perseverance drive everything I do.
